“Some of the staff and teachers are awesome! I give credit when it is due. The administration and the principal however, just aren't listening to the needs of the teachers or the parents concerns. Not enough parents are stepping up to help or correct their children either so blame goes there too. The children run the halls everyday, screaming and yelling, hitting and threatening other kids and mouthing off at teachers. How would I know? I see it everyday when I pick up my child. Even the childhen I have watched grow up and love dearly can be so disrespectful that it breaks my heart. I'm fed up with the Petersburg school system letting my child down and leaving him behind so I'm leaving Petersburg behind and moving. To those teachers that I've watched go above and beyond, thank you, kudos, and I wish I could pack you up with us!”

“Administrator,teachers and staff are up against huge odds. They are trying hard and yet the kids are suffering. My son's exeperiences there have been terrible; rasicm, abuse, constant exposure to the worst a mainstream capitalistic society can dish out and peer pressure to embrace it at every turn. We're pulling him out of there at the end of the term.”
