Carter G. Woodson Middle School Reviews

The school is more worried about minor things, like kids wearing under shirts(white t's) and flip flops, than they are about 'all' the hateful things kids do to each other, 'too much is just let go, pushed under a rug. If you ask me, I think more than half of the staff at the school are afraid of the kids, so they just let it go. But what's a teacher to do, when, Parents send there kids to school with no home training. It's A mix, I suppose, of the school needing to tightin' up, and take care of what's most imporant first, And the parents..needing take care of your kids, teach them right from wrong, Be a role model, someone positive for them to look up too. That is your job! This will be my childs last year at carter.g. and I'm so glad!!

I am a student at Carter G. Woodson and the school is awesome. We rarely have conflicts and our extracurricular activites are getting even better. Our staff and faculty at CGW is the best. The honor students and the regular education students are never separated. Honor and Regular Education students have most of the same teachers. From my point of view being a student I think the parental involvement is perfect. I am glad to be a student there. It is wonderful!

Need more police protection at school Drug bust do occur at school Many teachers do care
