Location: Five Forks Battlefield
Details: Living history demonstrations and ranger talks will help to explain the significance of the Battle of Five Forks. Five Forks was the last major battle of the siege of Petersburg and is known to many as the "Waterloo of the Confederacy". Fought on April 1, 1865 the battle led to the fall of Petersburg and, eventually, to the end of Lee`s Army of Northern Virginia which would surrender eight days following the battle.
